Find what is waiting for your approval
For managers and approvers: know which screen each kind of request lands on, so nothing sits waiting because you looked in the wrong place.
Before you start
- You can sign in to Zonitix. Which of the screens below you see depends on your role.
From your team
Step 1: Time off
Go to My WorkTime Off. Requests are in the card “Waiting for you” at the top. Click “Approve” or “Decline”. See Approve your team’s time off.
Step 2: Reviews of your team
Go to My WorkReviews. The people you review are under “Reviews to write” and “Ready to share”. See Complete a performance review.
Access
Step 3: Someone asked for an app
Go to Access GovernanceAccess Requests. Approvers see a column titled “Waiting on you”. Click “Approve” or “Reject”. See Handle access requests.
Step 4: An access review
Go to Access GovernanceAccess Reviews and select “My review queue”. For each item you keep the access or take it away. See Run an access review.
Onboarding, offboarding and other workflows
Step 5: A step in a workflow
Go to ExecutionWorkflow Tasks and click the “Waiting on you” tile. Open a run to see the step that is yours. See Work through workflow tasks.
Hiring and money
Step 6: A job offer
Go to HR & TalentOffer Approvals. Review the terms of the draft offer, then approve it or withhold approval. See Hire someone.
Step 7: A bill
Go to FinanceApprovals. See Capture and approve a bill.
Step 8: A budget or a spend request
Go to FinanceBudgets. The menu entry shows a number when something is waiting. See Set up and approve a budget.
What you should see
Each of those screens shows what is waiting with the buttons to decide it. Once you decide, the item leaves your list.
You only see the menu entries your role and your company’s plan include.
If something goes wrong
- You were told something is waiting but cannot find it
- Read the notification (the bell at the top of the page) or the email to see what kind of request it is, then open the matching screen above. If that screen is empty, someone else has already decided it or the request was withdrawn.
- The menu entry named in this guide is missing
- Your role does not include that kind of approval, or your company’s plan does not include that part of Zonitix. Ask your administrator.
- The Approve button is missing or refused on one request
- Zonitix does not let a person approve their own request, and in several places the person who asked cannot be the person who approves. Someone else has to decide that one.
