Brand your instance

Show your company name and colour on the sign-in page, across the app and in the emails Zonitix sends, and set the time zone and date format everyone sees. You can add your logo too.

For: AdministratorPlan: All plans

Before you start

  • Your role must let you manage security settings. In the built-in set, administrators have that permission. The “security_analyst” role has it too; no group carries it, so an administrator gives it to a person by hand, as Roles, groups and permissions shows. Without it, “Branding” is missing from the sidebar and “Save branding” is greyed out.
  • Your brand colour as a hex code, such as #3D5AF1, if you have one.

Set your identity

  1. Step 1: Open Branding

Go to SystemBranding. The left side is a “Live preview” of the sign-in header, the sidebar and buttons. It updates as you type, before anything is saved.

  2. Step 2: Enter your organisation name

Type it in “Organization name” (up to 120 characters). It is shown on the sign-in screen and in the sidebar. Leave it blank to keep the name Zonitix.

  3. Step 3: Add your logo (optional)

Click “Upload logo / icon” and choose a PNG, JPEG, WebP or SVG file. The preview shows it straight away. An SVG file must be 512 KB or smaller. Nothing is stored until you click “Save branding” in step 5.

To change it later, click “Replace logo / icon”; to remove it, click the bin icon next to that button, then save. With no logo, the sidebar shows the Zonitix mark and the sign-in page shows your organisation name.

  4. Step 4: Pick your accent colour

Use the “Primary brand colour” picker, type a 3- or 6-digit code in “Hex”, or click one of the six preset swatches. This colour tints buttons, links, switches and highlights across the app.

  5. Step 5: Save

Click “Save branding”. You see “Branding saved.” and the sidebar changes straight away.

Set regional formats

  1. Step 6: Choose time zone and format

In the “Regional” card below, pick a “Time zone” and a “Date & number format”. The “Preview” line shows today’s date in that style. Leave either blank to use each person’s own browser setting.

Click “Save regional settings”. It is saved separately from your name and colour.

Where your branding appears: the sign-in page, the set-password and device enrollment pages, the app sidebar, emails Zonitix sends (name and colour in the header, and a logo when one is set), and generated reports. If you use Recruitment (Team plan), your public careers page shows your name too. Emails can take about a minute to pick up a change.

Go back to the default

  1. Step 7: Reset

Click “Reset to Zonitix defaults”. This clears the name (and any logo) and restores the default colour in the form only. Click “Save branding” to apply it. The preview shows “Using Zonitix default” when everything is back to default.

What you should see

Sign out and look at the sign-in page: it shows your name in your colour. Inside the app, the sidebar shows your name, and buttons use your accent colour.

If something goes wrong

Saving fails with "That logo is too large. Use an image under about 700 KB."
Nothing in that save was kept, including the name and colour. Choose a smaller image file, or remove the logo with the bin icon, then save again. The size limits for saving branding are listed under Request Size Limits.
Choosing a file shows "That SVG is too large (max 512 KB)."
Export the SVG at a smaller size, or use a PNG instead.
The Hex box turns red with "Use a 3- or 6-digit hex".
Type the colour as # followed by 3 or 6 characters from 0-9 and A-F, for example #12876A.
Save branding is greyed out.
Your role lacks the Manage security permission. Ask an administrator to make the change or grant it.
