Your Zonitix account on this website

Find your plan, your invoices and payments, your documents and your account security in the customer console, and know how it differs from signing in to your instance.

For: AnyonePlan: All plans

Before you start

  • This page is for the person who holds your company’s account with Zonitix: usually whoever arranged the plan. It needs no technical knowledge.
  • The email address and password of that account. It is not the account you use inside your instance; the console says so itself: “This account is for billing and your licence”.
Two sign-ins, two places. The customer console is on this website and is about your plan and your account with us. Your instance is at its own address and is where your people work. Changing your password in one does not change it in the other.

Get in and look around

  1. Step 1: Sign in on this website

Click “Sign in” at the top of this site and enter the email address and password of your Zonitix account. You land in the console. Its menu on the left has four entries: “Overview”, “Billing”, “Documents” and “Profile”. Under them, “Need help?” shows the address to write to.

  2. Step 2: Overview: is my instance there?

Once your instance is running, “Overview” opens on a strip of four figures: “Your instance” (“Online”, “Idle” or “Offline”, with its address), “Last check-in”, “Version” and “Plan”. A check-in is a short signal your instance sends us to say it is running.

Below, the “Your instance” card shows the “Address”, the “Status” and “People using it”, with a button that opens your instance in a new tab. “Last 24 hours” is a row of 24 small blocks, one per hour, coloured when the instance checked in during that hour. “What your plan includes” lists the features switched on for you. Click “Refresh” at the top to read everything again.

These figures are about the signal between your instance and Zonitix. They do not show whether every part of the instance is working; for that an administrator uses Check system health inside the instance.

  3. Step 3: Overview before your instance exists

Until then, Overview shows where you are. With no plan it reads “Choose a plan to get your instance”, with a “See plans” button. Once a plan is active it becomes “Set up your instance”: a short form headed “Your instance details” that asks for a “Brand name”, the “Address” you want, an optional “Company legal name” and “Logo URL”, and the “Instance admin email” (optional; it defaults to your own address). Nothing is built until you save it. After that the page says “We’re building” followed by your address, and lists what you sent.

“Instance admin email” is the first administrator account on your instance. That person signs in first; see First sign-in.

Plan, invoices and payments

  1. Step 4: Billing: what am I on, and what is due?

Open “Billing”. The strip at the top shows your “Plan” and whether it is monthly or yearly, its status or next date, and your “Last payment”.

“Invoices” lists the invoices we have issued to you, with the columns “Invoice”, “For”, “Due”, “Status”, “Amount” and “PDF”. The status is “Awaiting payment”, “Overdue” or “Paid”. The eye button opens the invoice and the arrow button downloads it. You pay an open invoice by bank transfer, using the details printed on its PDF, and quote the invoice number. The section appears once you have at least one invoice.

“Payments” lists every payment on your account with its date, what it was for, the amount, the status and a receipt you can view or download.

  2. Step 5: Compare plans, or change yours

Under “Plans”, click “Compare plans” to see what Core, Team and Advanced each include, with your own marked “Your plan”. The cards are for reading: there is nothing to buy on the page.

To change or cancel your plan, write to us. The “Billed directly” card on “Billing” gives the address. Plans are paid by invoice and bank transfer, monthly or annually in advance; we invoice you before each period and nothing is charged automatically. If you have no plan yet, each plan card has a “Talk to us” button that starts an email to us.

Documents and your own account

  1. Step 6: Documents: what you agreed to, and proof of deletion

“Documents” has three sections. “Terms you accepted” records what you agreed to when you set up your account. “Signed agreements” holds contracts you have signed with Zonitix, each with “View” and “Download”. “Certificates of deletion” is signed proof that an instance of yours was destroyed; one appears there if that ever happens, and “How to verify a certificate yourself” gives the commands to check its signature.

  2. Step 7: Profile: your name, password and second factor

“Profile” opens into three pages. “Account” holds your “Name”, and the fixed details “Email”, “Member since” and “Account ID”, which has a “Copy” button for when support asks for it.

“Security” has three parts. “Password”: enter your “Current password”, a “New password” of at least 12 characters, and confirm it. Changing it signs you out of every other browser and removes your passkeys, so add them again afterwards. “Two-factor”: a one-time code, from an authenticator app or emailed to you, asked for at sign-in and before sensitive changes. “Passkeys”: sign in with your fingerprint, face, phone or a security key.

“Sign-in activity” shows your “Last sign-in”, where it came “From” and when “This session ends”. If you do not recognise that address, click “Sign out other sessions” and confirm with “Sign out others”, then change your password.

  3. Step 8: Leaving, or need a copy of your data?

At the bottom of ProfileAccount, “Your data” gives the address to write to if you want to close your account or request your data. For the data inside your instance, your administrator can download it at any time; see Export all your company data.

What you should see

On a running instance, “Overview” shows “Online”, a recent “Last check-in” and your plan’s name. “Online” means the last check-in was under 10 minutes ago, “Idle” between 10 and 15 minutes ago, and “Offline” more than 15 minutes ago.

On “Billing”, each invoice you have paid reads “Paid”, and the payment appears under “Payments” with its receipt once we have confirmed it.

If something goes wrong

A red box says "Your instance hasn’t checked in recently"
That usually means the server is restarting or has lost its network. Try opening your instance. If it does not come back shortly, use the support link in the box; we host and monitor your server and will look at it. See When something goes wrong.
You paid an invoice and it still reads Awaiting payment
An invoice is marked Paid when we have confirmed your bank transfer, which is not instant. If you believe the money has arrived, write to us with the invoice number.
Billing says "Your billing details did not load"
Click "Try again". Nothing on the page can be trusted as empty or current until it loads.
Your password for the console does not work on your instance
They are different accounts. The instance sign-in is managed by your instance administrator; see Help someone who is locked out.
The person who held the account has left your company
Write to license@zonitix.com from a company address and say who should hold the account now. The account’s email address is fixed and cannot be edited in the console.
Overview says your plan is ending, or your instance is scheduled to be shut down
The box at the top gives the date, and “Before it closes” lists what to do while you still have access. If it is a mistake, email support before that date.
